My name is Dr. Lisa Fitzgibbons
and my office is located in Northwest Arkansas. I graduated with my doctoral degree in clinical psychology
(Ph.D.) from the University of Tulsa in 1999. Since then I have worked as a practicing psychologist, statistician,
teacher, and researcher in a range of settings with children, adolescents, and adults. I am licensed to
practice in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. My training and experience enable me to provide psychological evaluations, therapy, and consultation services.
Although I have a broad range of experience, my focus is on helping children, adolescents, and their families to identify
ways to maximize learning and to increase personal effectiveness. Certain medical and psychological diagnoses and conditions can impact a child's ability
to succeed in school and in life. Autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, and other issues impact
a child's educational experience. My goal is to provide children and their parents with a better understanding of a current
diagnosis, find an area that may not have been previously identified, or rule out or confirm areas that have been suggested
by educators or other health professionals. The over-riding goal: helping the individual child meet or exceed his/her potential.
